Jesse Jeff is the Central Area Director on the MEA Board of Directors and currently teaches 6th grade social studies, science and composition at Westside Elementary.  Mr. Jeff has been teaching for 8 years and has been a member of MEA for 8 years.

 He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from LeMoyne-Owen College.  He also has his Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University.

Mr. Jeff has been involved in several committees at MEA.  He has been chairman of the Men of Education Committee, a member of M-PACE Council and an Association Representative.

He has served on the Shelby County Democratic Executive Committee and is a member of the Memphis Boyscout Council.  He has served in the U.S. Marine Corps and worked for the St. Louis, Missouri's Sherrifs Department.

He has been a TEA-RA delegate 5 times.

Mr. Jeff believes in leading by example!  "I believe in leading by example.  I won't ask anyone to do anything that I am not willing to do myself."
