My teaching experience runs the gamat, from K-12 in the areas of Special Education along with the experience of teaching adults -(other teachers) and (teaching English to Hispanics and in the Czech Republic. Of my 30 years in teaching 9 years were in the private sector and the rest here in Memphis, along with 1 year in Georgia, 1 year in Mississippi. All these varied settings and places have exposed me to both the best and the worst of education. It speaks greatly about my commitment to education and students that I enjoy getting up every morning, anxious and excited about teaching my students, and working with my colleagues. We have a tough but important job.
