Board Member . . .
Jim Underhill is currently a West Area Director for MEA and teaches at Fairley High School. Prior to serving as West Area Director, he served as Parlimentarian. He has 32 years of teaching experience and has been an MEA member for as long as he has been teaching. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Memphis and has done post-graduate work at the University of South Dakota. Mr. Underhill has previously served on the MEA Board as West Area Director and Treasurer. He has been an Association Representative for 17 years and was instrumental in the formation of the MEA Men of Education committee. He has served as a delegate to the TEA-RA 17 times and a delegate to the NEA-RA 11 times.
