Some Memphis City Schools may have active members but no elected
AR. Would YOU be interested
in serving as an AR? If you
think you would, talk to any AR who has been active in MEA or call your
UniServ Director. They will
be happy to explain to you the AR’s duties and responsibilities.
Or better yet, come to the
next Representative Assembly—just
to see what goes on at an RA meeting.
The RAs are held the second Tuesday of every month. It’s an interesting position—one that is beneficial for the
AR, as well as his or her members at the worksite.
Think about joining your peers and their commitment for a
stronger union of educators for Memphis City Schools and the students we
serve.
