Memphis-Shelby County Education Association Board of Directors

The Memphis-Shelby County Education Association (M-SCEA) is the professional organization representing teachers, mental health employees, education support professionals (ESPs), and other educators in the Shelby County Schools.

M-SCEA is over 4,000 members strong. M-SCEA is the largest educator organization in the state of Tennessee and one of the largest in the nation. Explore our site and see how our dedicated staff and members work hard for educators and students in the Shelby County Schools System!

M-SCEA has two UniServ Directors and an Executive Director. If you have a concern or a question, please call M-SCEA at 901-454-0966, and identify your work location. M-SCEA is an Association governed by its members.  The M-SCEA Board of Directors meets monthly and works to improve the education profession for all educators in Shelby County Schools.  The highest governing body of the Association is the Representative Assembly which is collectively all building level Association Representatives.  These representatives who are elected by their faculties meet once a month and help guide the direction of the Association.

All members are welcome to take an active role in their Association.  A STRONG MEMBERSHIP assures a STRONG VOICE!
