The Memphis-Shelby County Education Association passed a vote of no confidence in Tennessee Education Commissioner Kevin Huffman at their October Representative Assembly. "Enough is enough!" said M-SCEA president Keith Williams. "Since his appointment by Governor Bill Haslam as Tennessee`s Commissioner of Education in April of 2011, Commissioner Huffman has shown only a lack of respect and contempt for Tennessee`s teachers, our unions and our system of public education."
